The Turkish price of the highly anticipated new Mercedes-Benz GLB model, unveiled in December, has been determined. According to information on the official configuration page, the new Mercedes GLB 250+ model is offered for sale with a starting price of 5.352.932 TL. Compared to the German price, this is approximately €56.
The new GLB, offered by Mercedes-Benz in the Turkish market, stands out with its fully electric infrastructure. The vehicle features a rear-mounted 200 kW (approximately 272 horsepower) electric motor. This motor produces 335 Nm of torque and operates with an 800V electrical architecture. The battery capacity is 85 kWh, providing a combined driving range of up to 625 kilometers on a single charge. In urban use, the range reaches 788 kilometers.
Performance and Battery Specifications
The new Mercedes GLB 250+ accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in approximately 7,4 seconds. Its maximum speed is set at 210 km/h. Average energy consumption is around 16 kWh/100 km. Thanks to fast charging options, the battery can be charged from 10% to 80% in approximately 22 minutes with DC charging support up to 320 kW. Furthermore, short charging sessions allow for a range increase of 260 kilometers in just 10 minutes. Standard AC charging is 11 kW and takes approximately 9 hours to fully charge.
Dimensions and Internal Volume
The vehicle boasts impressive dimensions. It measures 4732 mm in length, 1861 mm in width, and 1687 mm in height. The wheelbase is 2889 mm. Weighing approximately 2,2 tons unladen, this model offers a generous 540-liter trunk capacity. Additionally, there's a further 127 liters of space in the front, further increasing the total usable area.
Comfort and Safety Features
The new GLB model, which is quite well-equipped, offers many features even at the entry level. Inside, it includes a 10,25-inch digital instrument display, a 14-inch multimedia screen, an electric tailgate, LED headlights, a panoramic glass roof, and single-zone automatic climate control. Additionally, facial recognition, a rearview camera, and various driver assistance systems are standard features.
