BMW, currently in the news with a new recall process covering the American market, announced in a notification to the Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) that approximately 58.713 vehicles may be affected. The primary reason for the recall is that damage to wiring harnesses during cabin filter replacement poses a significant safety risk. The company emphasizes that this situation could lead to serious safety issues; however, it notes that there have been no casualties or property damage so far.
