Xpeng Aridge has announced that it has entered the mass production phase of its "Land Aircraft Carrier" project, which is set to revolutionize the automotive world. Breaking away from traditional launch strategies, the company introduced its modular vehicle, which stands out with cosmic color options such as Star Silver, Moon Rock Grey, and Supernova White. This ambitious move heralds the beginning of air and land integration in individual transportation.
Modular System and eVTOL Technology
Aridge's system consists of a main carrier vehicle and an eVTOL (electric vertical take-off and landing) aircraft that can separate from it. The ground carrier not only transports the flying module but also offers a flexible usage scenario by charging it while in motion. This technological synergy aims to provide an aerial solution to traffic congestion.
Massive Production Base and Delivery
The delivery date for the aeromobiles, which will be produced in the massive 120.000 square meter factory in Guangzhou, has been confirmed as 2026. With an annual production capacity of 10.000 units, the facility has the power to produce a vehicle every 30 minutes. These futuristic vehicles, estimated to cost around 2 million yuan, will fundamentally change the concept of mobility.
