The Yanmar Turkey Industrial Power Transmission Systems team has elevated its after-sales service capabilities in Türkiye to a global level by completing internationally certified engine training at Yanmar's European headquarters in the Netherlands.
Yanmar Turkey, the Turkish subsidiary of Japan-based Yanmar, has successfully completed advanced engine training for its Industrial Power Transmission Systems (IPT) team at its headquarters in the Netherlands. Upon completion of the training, the team earned internationally recognized technical certifications approved by Yanmar Global.
The training program focused on high-power motors exceeding 56 kW, featuring next-generation, environmentally friendly Stage V and Common Rail technology. Specifically, the program covered the selection, appropriate positioning, installation processes, and warranty management of 82 kW and 105 kW motors in detail.
Technical capabilities have been taken to an advanced level.
During the training, the IPT team received both theoretical and practical training in modern engine technologies, troubleshooting and rapid field solutions, manufacturer technical guidance, and warranty processes. The certificates obtained at the end of the program were awarded through the Yanmar Europe Academy and accredited by Yanmar Power Technology (YPT).
Yanmar Turkey IPT Business Unit Manager Bahadır Birgücü, Service and Application Manager Furkan Arslan, and Service Engineer Yasin Çetin participated in the training. While the team previously held all certifications for low-power engines, this training enabled them to gain advanced international competence in high-power and next-generation engines.
After-sales service quality has been improved.

With this certification, Yanmar Turkey aims to further advance its technical service strategies for the 2025-2026 period. In the coming period, plans include completing new training programs for high-power engine families, providing more widespread and systematic training for authorized service centers, and expanding the service network to offer 24/7 service to all brands using Yanmar engines.
