Roewe's new representative under the SAIC Motor umbrella, the M7 DMH, stands out in the Chinese market with its impressive technical specifications and competitive price. Offering a total range of up to 2.050 kilometers on a single full charge, the car has been launched in China even before an official launch schedule for Türkiye and Europe.
The vehicle's powertrain consists of a 1.5-liter gasoline engine under the hood producing 110 horsepower, paired with a 184-horsepower electric motor. The 19,7 kWh LFP battery, responsible for energy storage, stands out for its cost advantage and durability. According to China's CLTC test cycle, the all-electric driving range is approximately 160 kilometers; however, with the integrated operation of both gasoline and electric systems, the total range increases to 2.050 kilometers.
The M7 DMH, which made a name for itself with its design language upon its launch, stands out with its wide grille, two-tiered headlight arrangement, and coupe-like side profile. Inside, this model features digital instruments and a large multimedia screen, and bears the signature of renowned designer Josef Kaban, who previously worked for brands such as Rolls-Royce and BMW.
In terms of price, the starting price in China is announced as 97.800 yuan, which is approximately €12.000 at current exchange rates. Although a clear release date for the European market has not been given, the equipment and range at this level in China indicate the potential to significantly shift the balance in its class. Currently, the Roewe M7 DMH is produced only for the Chinese market and is among the models eagerly awaited in the global automotive calendar.
