Mazda has announced that global sales of its flagship crossover model, the CX-5, will reach 5 million units by the end of 2025. This historic achievement makes the CX-5 the third vehicle from the brand to reach this milestone, following the legendary Mazda 323 and Mazda3. Produced in strategic locations such as Japan, China, Malaysia, and Vietnam since 2011, the vehicle has been Mazda's best-selling model since 2018.

Countdown to the Next Generation

The third-generation Mazda CX-5, following its European premiere in July 2025, is now aiming for its North American and Japanese launch in spring 2026. The new model aims to continue its success with its sporty design, expanded interior space, and user-friendly next-generation interface.
