A new proposal for a scrap vehicle incentive program, prepared with the goals of environmental protection and supporting domestic production in Türkiye, has been brought to the parliamentary agenda. The bill, prepared by the Ministry of Industry and Technology, plans to offer a Special Consumption Tax (ÖTV) exemption to citizens who scrap their vehicles that are 25 years old or older.
