TEKNOFEST TRNC: JOURNEY TO THE TECHNOLOGY OF THE FUTURE
TEKNOFEST TRNC, Türkiye Technology Team Foundation ve Ministry of Industry and Technology It is a big festival where technology and innovation come together, organized under the leadership of TRNC Presidency The event, organized under the auspices of brings together technology enthusiasts and young entrepreneurs. The festival, which was brought to life with the support of 132 stakeholder institutions, is being organized abroad for the second time this year and the 11th time in total. This event, held on an area of 100 thousand square meters, awaits its participants until May 4.
COMPETITIONS THAT TAKE YOUNG PEOPLE’S CREATIVITY TO THE TOP
TEKNOFEST TRNC organizes a total of 13 technology competitions in 6 different subcategories. More than 22 thousand participants from 47 different countries, as well as Türkiye, have applied to take part in this prestigious event. A total of 3 million TL in financial support and 2,5 million TL in prizes are offered to young people to realize their projects. Among the competitions Robotics and Coding, Social Innovation, Flying Car Simulation Areas such as these are the main categories that attract attention.
PROJECTS CONTRIBUTING TO SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT
At TEKNOFEST TRNC, projects in the fields of environment, agriculture and energy also aim to contribute to sustainable development. TEKNOFEST Robolig Blue Homeland Competition, is among the competitions that encourage the production of new designs in the fields of robotics and engineering. Such projects increase the contributions of young people to the technologies of the future.
COMPETITIONS FOCUSING ON FUTURE TRANSPORTATION SYSTEMS
The Flying Car Simulation Competition hosts projects that shape autonomous flight systems and control strategies. Participants work hard to develop innovative and sustainable solutions for the benefit of society. Such projects shape young people's visions of future transportation systems.
TOURISM AND CULTURE ENRICHED WITH TECHNOLOGY
Aiming to bring together the natural and cultural riches of the TRNC with technology Tourism Technologies Competition, aims to develop smart solutions that will increase the tourism potential of the region. Projects that carry the cultural heritage of the Blue Homeland into the future add a different dimension to the festival. In this context, the combination of technology and cultural heritage constitutes an important part of the event.
AWARDS AND FINALISTS
268 finalist teams are in fierce competition to present their best projects among a total of 1083 competitors. The projects that rank will receive their awards on the TEKNOFEST TRNC main stage. These awards increase the motivation of the participants and help to encourage new projects.
SHOWS WITH DOMESTIC AIRCRAFT
Flight shows organized with domestic aircraft in the festival area will attract great attention. Bayraktar AKINCI, Bayraktar tb2, HURKUS, PHOENIX, AKSUNGUR National aircraft such as the , present a visual feast to festival participants and emphasize the importance of domestic production in the field of aviation.
FAIR AREAS AND EVENT STANDS
There are a total of 116 stands at the festival. The stands of 81 stakeholder institutions, 11 sponsor institutions, 4 participant companies and 20 food court participants offer participants the opportunity to explore technology up close. In addition, Science Street
CYPRUS PEACE OPERATION EXPERIENCE AREA
At the festival Cyprus Peace Operation Experience Area, offers visitors the opportunity to experience historical moments. It will be possible to discover the 1974 Cyprus Peace Operation with an experience supported by visual and audio techniques. After this experience, participants will also have the opportunity to take photographs supported by artificial intelligence.
PARTICIPATION CONDITIONS
Participation in TEKNOFEST TRNC is free of charge, but registration is required in advance. There is no registration requirement for children under the age of 7. Visitors will be able to enter the event area between 09:00-19:00. It is important to complete the registration process on time in order not to miss this opportunity.
