Journalists from nine countries including Brazil, Spain and Saudi Arabia successfully completed the Omoda7 Phev's 1.25km extreme super hybrid endurance marathon in China
At the event, the performance of NEO TECH's super hybrid system (SHS) technology was confirmed.
The plug-in hybrid model stood out with its minimum fuel consumption of 4,4 litres/100 kilometres and its all-electric driving range of 121,1 km. At the same time, it provided a total range of 1.457 km with a full tank of fuel. These results demonstrate the high efficiency of the Super Hybrid System (SHS) technology and the best level of comfort in its class.
In the marathon, where the Omoda Phev showcased the ultimate combination of design and technology, the vehicle demonstrated superior range and performance in various terrain conditions. It was reported that the electric driving range was over 95 kilometers, exceeded 121,1 km in urban heavy traffic, and the total range reached 1.457 km. In addition, in the endurance test in the Yangtze River Delta, the vehicle managed to keep the combined fuel consumption at 4,4 liters/100 km.
During the test, the electric motor and the internal combustion engine worked in harmony during acceleration, overtaking and uphill climbs in urban traffic. The vehicle provided a quiet ride thanks to minimal wind noise at high speeds and active noise reduction technology. In addition, the best results in its class were recorded in terms of fuel efficiency and driving comfort in heavy traffic and long distance conditions.
The Omoda7 Phev's long-distance tests aim to shed light on future transportation possibilities with its impressive range performance and sustainable power output. The event, which was held with the participation of press members, revealed the model's performance and technological superiorities.
