Rolls-Royce Motor Cars is bringing a new range of inspiration to the automotive world with the introduction of its bespoke Cullinan Daisy. This unique Black Badge Cullinan Series II reflects its client’s deep passion for hiking and the great outdoors. Inspired by a daisy field on his favourite hiking trail in the High Tatras, the Cullinan Daisy symbolises resilience and perseverance, like a daisy that thrives in challenging conditions. Having built a successful career in the outdoor and adventure equipment industry, the commission stands out as a symbol of his journey towards success in life.
Exterior Design: Balance of Strength and Durability
The daisy flower is adorned with a unique Coachline finish in Powder Blue. This special design creates a striking contrast with the muted color palette, the darkened Black Badge Pantheon grille, the Spirit of Ecstasy statue and the bright details on the exterior. This combination ensures that the Cullinan Daisy projects an elegant and powerful image.
Interior Design: The Harmonious Dance of Elegance and Details
The daisy motif in the interior design provides a smooth transition from the rear seats to the front, adding an elegant touch to the center console section. The design is meticulously processed into the Blackwood surface using a sandblasting technique. This process allows fine mineral particles to gravitate towards the flow coating, creating an impressive pattern through the precise abrasion of microscopic layers on the surface. The interaction of light and shadow on the sculptural surface creates a three-dimensional effect, giving the work visual depth.
Blackwood veneers complement the elegant three-tone interior palette perfectly. The main leather colour, Fleet Blue, extends to the Rotary Controls and B and C pillars. Selby Blue and black leather upholstery is enhanced with Fleet Blue seat edges, Selby Grey contrast stitching and headrest monograms. The interior is finished with illuminated floor plates customised in a daisy design.
Bespoke Umbrellas: Flowers That Bloom in the Rain
The daisy motif is featured on the inside of the Bespoke umbrellas hidden in the Cullinan’s rear Coach doors. The daisy pattern on the inside of these umbrellas evokes the serene atmosphere of a field of daisies blooming on a rainy day.
Bespoke Starlight Ceiling Tile: A Window to Heaven
Cullinan Daisy is equipped with a Bespoke Starlight ceiling tile that projects four major constellations of the night sky at northern latitudes. These constellations include Ursa Major, Ursa Minor, which contains the North Star, Gemini, easily identified by the bright stars Castor and Pollux, and Taurus, known for the red giant Aldebaran and the Pleiades star cluster.
Recreation Module: Adventures Awaits You
Cullinan Daisy is completed with a Recreation Module designed to carry the client’s hiking equipment. This module features a storage compartment mounted in the boot floor that can be automatically deployed. This bespoke design provides inspiration for how natural motifs can be expressed through craftsmanship and the use of materials.
