The new Suzuki Swift Hybrid has once again been recognised as the ‘Best Small Car of the Year’ in the small car category at the 2025 UKCOTY.

The new Suzuki Swift, which has received great acclaim and awards in the UK, continues to be one of the strongest representatives of the hatchback car segment with its high quality standards and innovative features.

UKCOTY jury member Alex Robbin said: “There are very few practical, high-value small cars available these days. That’s where Suzuki comes to the rescue with the Swift, offering an attractive mobility experience at a reasonable price, with low running costs. It’s great fun to drive and even in its entry-level version it has a high level of equipment.”

UKCOTY judge Trinity Francis emphasised that the Suzuki Swift strikes the right balance between high added value, fuel economy and attractive appearance, adding: “Despite being a small car, the angular body design makes the luggage space very practical, especially when the seats are folded down.”

Fellow jury member Natisha Chatten said: “Its unbeatable combination of reliability and efficiency is demonstrated by its uncomplicated powertrain. In a market full of complex vehicles, the Swift offers a simple and practical solution – and at an affordable and accessible price. This makes it an attractive alternative for a wide range of users.”

The new generation Suzuki Swift draws attention with its high equipment and increased safety features. Equipped with Suzuki Smart Hybrid Technology, Swift offers both an economical and powerful drive by consuming only 1.2 liters of fuel per 100 km thanks to its 4.8-liter gasoline engine. Offered in Türkiye with Life and Pulse equipment levels, Swift prioritizes comfort with its ergonomic and technological cabin.

It makes driving safer and more enjoyable with its advanced equipment such as 9-inch multimedia screen, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto support, rear view camera, blind spot warning system, adaptive cruise control. In addition, many superior features such as 16-inch aluminum alloy wheels, LED headlights, front seat heating and keyless entry and start are among the standard equipment of Swift.
