BYD, which has begun to gain an important place in the electric vehicle market, is bringing its 7-passenger capacity four-wheel drive SUV model Tang to Turkey. The model, which will be on sale in March, draws attention with its high range and fast charging features.

Chinese automotive giant BYD made a strong entry into the Turkish market in late 2024, introducing the Han, Dolphin, Seal and Seal U DM-I models to users. Now, the arrival date of the BYD Tang, which is seen as the brand's new flagship, has been clarified in Turkey. The Tang, which is fully electric, has a four-wheel drive and a 7-passenger capacity, will be on sale in March.

530 KM RANGE, HIGH PERFORMANCE

The BYD Tang is equipped with Blade Battery technology with a capacity of 108,8 kWh and offers a WLTP range of 530 km. Thanks to the dual-motor electric system with 380 kW (517 hp), it can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 4,9 seconds. In addition, thanks to the 170 kW DC fast charging support, it can charge its battery from 30% to 80% in just 30 minutes.

LARGE INTERIOR VOLUME AND AERODYNAMIC DESIGN

The BYD Tang draws attention with its 4.970 mm long body and aerodynamic structure. 21-inch aluminum alloy wheels and the “Dragon Face” design language give the vehicle a powerful and dynamic appearance. With its wide-opening doors and spacious interior, it offers comfortable use especially for large families and long journeys.

ENERGY SAVING HEAT PUMP

The high-efficiency heat pump system, offered as standard in the vehicle, was developed to provide optimum performance in different temperature conditions. This system, which minimizes energy loss by using waste heat, helps preserve battery range, especially in cold weather conditions.

ELECTRIC SUV COMPETITION WILL HEAT UP IN TURKEY

With its spacious interior, long range and high performance, BYD Tang is preparing to gain an important place in the electric SUV market in Turkey. Aiming to make electric vehicle use more accessible with its advanced battery technology and fast charging advantages, the model will be on Turkish roads as of March.
