Tesla Prepares to Offer Trade-In Service in Turkey
Tesla, a pioneer in the electric car sector, has announced plans to offer a vehicle exchange service to its users in Turkey. Tesla Turkey Operations Manager Emir Tunçyürek, in a post on the social media platform X, emphasized that work is underway on the exchange program.
IS TESLA TRADE-IN SERVICE STARTING IN TURKEY?
Tesla offers users in global markets who want to buy a new Tesla vehicle the opportunity to trade in their existing vehicles. However, this program, which has not yet been activated in Turkey, is expected to be activated in the near future. Tesla Turkey's manager Emir Tunçyürek confirmed this possibility by responding to a user's question about trade-in support by saying, "Although not yet, it is in our works."
DETAILS OF THE EXCHANGE PROGRAM
Tesla’s global trade-in program accepts a variety of vehicle types, including passenger cars, SUVs, and pickup trucks. Users will be able to upload information and photos of their vehicles to Tesla’s online platform to learn the value of their vehicles. The valuation process is based on industry standards and market data, while the vehicle’s damage record and current condition will also be taken into account.
Tesla also accepts not only internal combustion engine vehicles but also other electric vehicles for trade-in. This service provides an opportunity for Tesla owners to easily exchange their vehicles for newer and more advanced models.
TESLA ON THE RISE IN TURKEY
Tesla has become the second most popular electric car brand in Turkey by selling more than 2024 Tesla Model Ys in 9. The implementation of the vehicle trade-in program will contribute significantly to Tesla's growth in Turkey and allow them to reach more customers.
