New Suzuki Swift Wins Double Award

Suzuki has won the Best Eco Performance Car and Best Small Car of the Year awards in two categories at the Scottish Motoring Writers' Association Car of the Year Awards with its new Swift Hybrid model.

Following a vote among members of the Scottish Motoring Writers Association, the new Swift Hybrid has been named Best Eco Performance Car and Best Small Car of the Year, following extensive testing over the last 12 months.

Judge of the Best Car Award, Alisdair Suttie, Chairman of the Scottish Motoring Writers' Association, said: "The Suzuki Swift stands out in its class with its wide range of talents, including superb driving characteristics and fuel economy, comprehensive standard equipment and excellent practicality. It is the epitome of what this class should be. The judges were not just looking at the numbers. They wanted a car that would be perfectly suited to everyday use and not demand too much from the driver. The new Suzuki Swift Hybrid is a clear winner."
