Meiller, the first tipper manufacturer to produce hydraulic systems, tipper and semi-trailer products with its experience of more than 170 years in the sector, will again serve in the Turkish market within the scope of the distributorship agreement with Doğuş Otomotiv.
The new term distributorship agreement was signed in Munich, Germany, by Doğuş Otomotiv Chief Executive Officer and Board Chairman Ali Bilaloğlu, Doğuş Otomotiv Scania General Manager Tolga Senyücel, Meiller Sales and SSH Manager Volkan Kahya, Scania Marketing Manager Levent Can Özokutucu, FX Meiller CEO Dr. It was signed with the participation of Daniel Böhmer, Overseas Markets Manager Christian Weinmann and Turkey and Overseas Markets Regional Manager Wolfgang Gebhart.
“Congratulations to the sector in our cooperation”
Making a statement after the signing ceremony, Doğuş Otomotiv Executive Board and Chairman of the Board Ali Bilaloğlu said, “The cooperation between Doğuş Otomotiv and Meiller, one of the world's leading trailer and tipper manufacturers, goes back many years. The production process, which we started in Sakarya in 2008 with the Doğuş Meiller brand, continued until 2015. Our cooperation, which ended with a mutual agreement in 2015, has started again with these mutual signatures. I wish our cooperation to be beneficial to all parties, especially to our heavy commercial vehicle sector.”
“We listened to customer demands”
Doğuş Otomotiv Scania General Manager Tolga Senyücel reminded that Turkish users are familiar with the Meiller brand and said, “The sector we serve is constantly developing. The continuity of construction investments leads to new demands. As the industry developed, we did not want to be indifferent to the requests of Meiller Damper, which has the highest standards in terms of quality, from customers. Starting from the second half of this year, we will introduce our Half-pipe type semi-trailer tipper model to our customers in the first place. Classic type Aluminum semi-trailer tippers will also be offered to customers in the product portfolio according to the demands”.
It is aimed to introduce the Meiller branded semi-trailer tipper products to the market in July, whose sales and service will be provided by Doğuş Otomotiv at 7 different points throughout Turkey.
