LEGO Group Designer Kasper René Hansen; “As two major brands, we came together to produce a product that reflects a new era of racing and engineering. It was not easy to create the shape and details of such an elegant car using LEGO Technic elements. It is an honor to work with the Peugeot TotalEnergies Team on this project. “I am proud that together we brought Hypercar to life in LEGO Technic form.”

Peugeot Sport Technical Manager Olivier Jansonnie; “Our technical cooperation with the LEGO Group began in January 9, 8 months before the Peugeot 5X2022 was revealed. The project, which allowed us to transfer the technical details of the Peugeot 9X8 to the LEGO Technic model, took 1 year to develop together with the technical and design teams. It was very important for both brands to produce as realistic a model as possible. The Peugeot, Peugeot Sport and LEGO teams held numerous meetings on adapting suspension and hybrid systems that could not be conveyed from the photos. We thank the LEGO Group for this project. We achieved a better result than we could have imagined. We were proud and impressed,” he said.
