The car, which was removed from the 23 April Tower of Anıtkabir, was taken to Istanbul for restoration in 2018.

Restoration work was started in the environment, which was monitored by security cameras 7/24 by the General Staff and Anıtkabir Command.

During the restoration process, which lasted about 5 years, the missing parts of the car were brought from America, and the interior was reproduced in accordance with the original.
