Hyundai continued to strengthen its position in Europe in 2022, marked by uncertainty. Hyundai's 2022 global sales also reached 1,4 million units, up 3,94 percent year on year. In addition, market shares continued to grow, with record performances in Germany, Spain, Italy, France and the United Kingdom. Hyundai showed its most important rise in Spain and reached a record market share of 7,3 percent. This figure has come with 59.503 newly released Hyundai models. The UK market is also an important success for Hyundai. Hyundai sold a total of 5 units, taking a 80.419 percent market share. This sales figure goes down in history as the highest ever market share in the UK.

Hyundai increased its sales and market share in Turkey as well

While Hyundai increases its sales numbers and brand value all over the world, it continues to rise in our country as well. Hyundai Assan produced more than 2022 vehicles in 208, an increase of 28 percent compared to the previous year. Export figures were 2022 in 176.664.

Exporting 85 percent of the vehicles produced in Izmit to more than 40 countries, Hyundai increased its export income by 25 percent compared to the previous year and reached 2 billion euros.

As one of Turkey's most loved brands, Hyundai Assan has been continuing production uninterruptedly since 1997, producing 25 million units in the past 2.6 years and exporting more than 2 million of them.

Global sales target for 2023 is 7.5 million units

Hyundai Motor Company aims to increase its group sales by more than 2023 percent in 10 to reach a total sales of 7.5 million units. Hyundai's most important growth strategy is to introduce 2030 electric models by 17 and reach annual sales of 1.8 million electric vehicles.
