Suzuki made the world debut of its electric vehicle concept car eVX at the Maruti Suzuki Pavilion at Auto Expo 2023 in Delhi, India.
Focusing on sustainability investments, Suzuki plans to launch the electric SUV model on the roads in 2025.
Suzuki is still present in different markets of the world with SUV models such as Vitara, Jimny and S-CROSS. The eVX is a 100 percent electric car and combines up-to-date electric car features with Suzuki's powerful 4×4 DNA. Its exterior design is instantly recognizable as a Suzuki SUV at first glance. It also brings the brand's 4×4 heritage into the new electric age to deliver a true Suzuki SUV driving experience.
Suzuki President Toshiro Suzuki, at the press conference held at Auto Expo 2023; “I am pleased to introduce the eVX, our first global strategic electric vehicle. As Suzuki, we will continue to offer our quality products to our customers around the world by optimizing them for different people's lifestyles and driving styles."
The technical specifications of the eVX are as follows: “Length: 4 millimeters, width: 300 millimeters, height: 800 millimeters, battery capacity: 600 kWh, range: 60 kilometers (Measured with Modified Indian driving cycle” (MIDC))”
