The opening of Togg's campus in Gemlik, which started out saying more than an automobile, witnessed historical references and historical comparisons. The ceremony brought together names from different points of the political spectrum. In addition to politics, important names from diplomacy, industry, commerce, bureaucracy and media attended the ceremony in Gemlik.

In his speech, President Erdoğan reminded a photograph taken in Uşak on the 10th anniversary of the Republic. “This is how we won the Republic.” Describing the photo of the banner and the citizens there, Erdoğan said, “Our country has now reached a level where it will celebrate the anniversary of the foundation of our Republic with the opening ceremonies of Marmaray, Istanbul Airport and Togg facility. SPECIAL PLATFORM

A special platform and lighting system was set up at Togg's Gemlik Campus for the "Long Live the Republic" motto emphasized by President Erdogan in his speech. Behind the special platform, 25 meters wide and 9 meters high, the slogan "Long Live the Republic" in white on a red background, and the Togg logo, took place on October 29, 2022. President Erdoğan and Emine Erdoğan, all employees of Togg posed with flags and waving hands in front of the platform for the photo shoot that went down in history. Two red-colored Toggs named Anadolu and a white-colored Togg named Pamukkale took the lead in the photograph.

The ceremony hosted by Industry and Technology Minister Mustafa Varank was attended by Parliament Speaker Şentop as well as many political party leaders. CHP Chairman Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu and IYI Party Chairman Meral Akşener, who were invited by Minister Varank, did not attend the ceremony. Koray Aydın, Yavuz Ağıralioğlu and Ayhan Altıntaş represented the IYI Party at the event, where there was no participation from the CHP.
