Designed and developed at Hero's state-of-the-art R&D centres, including the Innovation and Technology Center in Jaipur and the Hero Technology Center near Munich, Germany, the VIDA V1 is manufactured at Hero MotoCorp's Chittoor plant in the south Indian state of Andhra Pradesh.
The development and production of VIDA V1 follows an all-encompassing sustainability approach, which includes the use of electricity from renewable sources and the use of highly recycled materials, as well as compliance with strict environmental and social standards during the extraction of raw materials.
VIDA V1 Plus; While the VIDA V1 Pro is offered in three exciting colors, matte white, matte sports red and glossy black, VIDA VXNUMX Pro is offered to customers in a total of four colors, including matte orange in addition to these three colors.
Charging infrastructure
Powered by Hero, VIDA offers a comprehensive charging package based on multiple customized programs for a smooth and flexible charging experience at home, on the go and at work.
VIDA V1 comes with a removable battery. It offers safe and easy charging up to 11kW and can be integrated into home environments.

Impressive battery technology
The VIDA V1 has a Nickel Manganese Cobalt high voltage Li-Ion based battery with a net energy content of 1 kWh in the VIDA V3,94 Pro and 1 in the VIDA V3,44 Plus. The batteries are resistant to shock loads and have passed many industry first test protocols for reliability.
The VIDA V1 can climb up to an 60 degree incline with a 2% charge and 18 riders. VIDA V1 has a standard five-year warranty of 50.000 km. The batteries are covered by a warranty valid for three years or up to 30.000 kilometers.
There are four driving modes for both models – Sport, Ride, Eco and Custom. The VIDA V1 Pro can travel 165 km and the VIDA V1 PLUS 143 km.
VIDA V1 and its systems have passed 200.000 kilometers of testing and 25.000 hours of feedback loops.

The 7 inch TFT is an easy to use and functional smart touch panel that can be programmed over the air. Intelligent 2-way throttle provides reverse and regenerative assists. The VIDA V1 also features Limp Home Mode (Protection Mode), which allows the driver to travel at 8 km/h for approximately 10 kilometers to a preferred location if the charge level drops below a predefined limit.
VIDA cloud
VIDA cloud is an interface that connects driver, tool and service backend to increase efficiency and empower seamless experience. Augmented reality creates an interface through prognostics, remote diagnostics for onsite repair, charging station dock reservation, analytics and machine learning, enhancing the driver's ownership experience.
Electric transmission
The VIDA V1 features a highly integrated e-drive unit with an IP 68 compliant PMSM electric motor in a single enclosure. VIDA V1 reaches a top speed of 6 km/h with a maximum of 80kW and accelerates from 0 to 40 km/h in 3,2 seconds.
Customer offers
Taking a fresh approach to this space, Hero MotoCorp announced the first of its kind customer offerings and services.
This includes “Green EMI”, an efficient and hassle-free financing platform, which not only offers an easy electronic journey, but also zamIt also offers best-in-class interest rates 1,5-2% lower than financial offers currently on the market.
Hero MotoCorp also offers an industry-first Buy-Back plan for first-time electric vehicle purchasers, with a vehicle purchase guarantee of up to 16% of purchase value over a 18 to 70-month vehicle ownership period.
As another industry-first initiative in this field, the VIDA V1 will be offered to customers for a test drive of up to three days. In addition to the pick-up and drop-off facility for customers, VIDA V1 is also ready to serve its customers anywhere by offering another first in the industry – on-site repair.
Digital assets reinforce Hero MotoCorp's technology-first approach to VIDA. The company also creates a range of physical assets, including innovative and exciting Experience Centers in key locations and pop-ups in popular malls, to provide a distinctive experience for its customers.
