Regarding the number of investors in Chinese stock markets, the latest data reveal that 1,25 million investors were added in August to the number recorded as of the end of July.
According to the statement made by China Securities Depository and Clearing Corporation Limited, the increase recorded in August consists of 1,24 million individual investors as well as 3 institutional investors.
Final data shows that the total number of investors in Chinese stock markets as of the end of last month reached 208,6 million.
