Industrial data showed that new charging points for electric vehicles in China increased rapidly in July. According to the China Electric Vehicle Charging Infrastructure Development Association, there are approximately 3 million 980 thousand charging facilities in the country as of the end of July. That's double the number a year ago.
The association announced that about 47 charging points were added last month. The number of new dedicated charging points has also grown rapidly, increasing by over 390 percent in the first seven months of this year. The rapid increase in charging facilities is in line with the development of the new energy vehicle sector, which recorded a growth of 120 percent in January-July.
