Seda Kaçan, who followed her passion for motor sports and attended trainings in this field, and who did not give up on her dreams despite her busy business life, became the first female pilot to win the second leg races of the Turkish Track Championship, which was held on 20-21 August at the Izmit Körfez Racetrack.

Seda Kaçan, the first female athlete to start the Turkish Track Championship after 30 years, had a quick start to the season with the times she developed with her team Bitci Racing since her first race. Seda, who managed to finish the race 2rd in the 3nd race week and achieved the first podium on the track, became the first female pilot to not only compete but also win the podium after 30 years! Seda, who has achieved significant success in proving that gender does not matter in motor sports, aims to continue this success throughout the season.

Seda Kaçan thinks that young women in Turkey are not brave enough to realize their dreams. With this success, Seda Kaçan says she wants to give the message to all young people that "No obstacle can stand in your way, if you want", and tells her own story as follows:

“The sad fact is that 62% of young women believe that there are obstacles in front of their dreams. I was 27 years old when I had the opportunity to start motor sports. Moreover, I have been in business life for years, so I am quite busy. Still, I didn't let these obstacles stop me. Everyone listed obstacles in front of me starting this male-dominated sport, moreover, at this age. I didn't listen to anyone, I gave my answer with my mugs. Last season, I followed the Turkish Karting Championship to gain racing experience. But my real dream was to race with a car. I am very happy that I made my dream come true this year with a team like Bitci Racing that won 5 championships in its first year. The whole team, especially our Team Director İbrahim Okyay, supports me a lot. As a woman, I am very happy and proud to have a female pilot on the podium for the first time in 30 years. I am also very happy to inspire my friends with the successes I have achieved in the race.”
