The charging network infrastructure, which is still in its infancy in Turkey, is expanding with new investments. Energy Market Regulatory Authority (EMRA) started to issue the first charging network operator licenses in Turkey. It is estimated that the number of charging units will reach 2023 thousand in 54, 2030 million in 1.1, and 2040 million in 4.8. Turkey's automobile, TOGG, has also received a charging network operator license from EMRA.

The charging network operator license will also accelerate market investments. According to 2021 data, there are approximately 3 charging units. It is estimated that the number of charging units (charging network operator and special units) will reach 500 thousand in 2023, 54 million in 2030, and 1.1 million in 2040.

Operating with 269 charging stations, 258 of which are fast charging stations, in 496 locations in Turkey, Eşarj will establish 53 high-speed charging stations in 495 provinces within the scope of the "Fast Charging Stations Program for Electric Vehicles", which was initiated to establish the charging infrastructure of electric vehicles. Eşarj will invest approximately 300 million TL in the station network.
