FIA-ETCR 2022 Season Begins in France!

There are only a few days left until the start of the FIA-ETCR season, the international motor sports organization where fully electric cars compete fiercely. The first leg will start on 6-8 May 2022 in Pau, France. With its mind-blowing electric power transmission systems, environmentalist activities, sustainable structure and unique concept, the teams are completing their preparations shortly before the start of the 2021 calendar of the electric motorsports organization, which announced the name PURE-ETCR (Electric Passenger Car World Cup) in 2022. FIA-ETCR (Electric Touring Cars World Championship), which became a much larger organization in 2022 with the contributions of the International Motor Sports Federation (FIA), has already managed to peak the excitement with its fully electric passenger car competition, environmentalist identity and innovative structure.

670 HP electric beasts

All participants will once again drive cars prepared within the framework of WSC Group's ETCR concept. With a maximum power of 500 kW (670 HP), this means the use of the most powerful Touring cars ever developed by the FIA ETCR to fight for the FIA World title. Power from the Williams Advanced Engineering battery pack powers the Magelec Propulsion transmission, motor and inverters. BrightLoop converters convert voltage for items with low power requirements, while charging powered by HTWO Hydrogen generators charges a car from 0 to 100 percent in about half an hour at the paddock-based Energy Station.
