208 robots, whose installation was completed at the Togg Gemlik Facility, which is defined as “More than a Factory” with its functions gathered under the same roof, and its smart and environmental features, started partial trials after the trials without any parts.

In line with the plans, the construction works at the Gemlik Facility, which is the core of Togg's 'Journey to Innovation' goal, are rapidly approaching the end. The 97 robots in the body building, of which 208 percent have been completed, have started partial trials on a cell basis, after partless trials. This stage will be followed by trial productions to be made by combining cells. After this process is completed, it will be ready for mass production in the last quarter of the year.

To be completed by the end of June

As of May, 99 percent of the paint facility and 95 percent of the assembly facility were completed, as well as the developments in the body building at the Gemlik Facility. At the paint facility, where 83 thousand 935 meters of electrical wiring and 36 thousand 770 meters of pipeline were laid, the tanks began water tests. In the assembly facility, 99 thousand 210 meters of electrical wiring was made, while 58 thousand 330 meters of pipeline was laid. The construction of the Togg Gemlik Facility, built on a total open area of ​​1 million 200 thousand square meters, will be completed at the end of June.

Serial production step by step

The Togg will be ready for mass production in the last quarter of 2022. After the completion of the homologation tests, the SUV, the first vehicle in the C segment, will be launched at the end of the first quarter of 2023. In the following years, Sedan and Hatchback models in the C segment will enter the production line. In the following years, with the addition of B-SUV and C-MPV to the family, the product range consisting of 5 models carrying the same DNA will be completed. Togg plans to produce a total of 2030 million vehicles by 5, with the production of 1 different models from a single platform.
