The all-electric high-tech crossover Kia EV6 has won one of the world's most prestigious automotive awards. The EV6 offers long-distance real-life driving range with ultra-fast charging technology. The new Kia EV6 has been selected as the car of the year 2022 at the much anticipated Car of the Year (COTY) awards. Kia's innovative electric crossover model EV6 was awarded this award by a 22-member jury of respected automotive journalists representing 59 European countries.
The Kia EV6 has been listed to be considered for the grand prize, along with over sixty models first introduced to the market in 2021. The COTY jury selected seven finalists from this long list in November, six of which are electric vehicles (EVs).
The Kia EV6 took the victory with a total of 279 points and won the 2022 Car of the Year award. Car of the Year Jury President Frank Janssen said: “It's nice to see the Kia EV6 win this award.
