Mazda MX-5 Coming with Innovations in the New Year

Mazda will refresh its iconic MX-5 model with a series of innovations in the new year. The two-seater car, which will be put on sale in 2022, comes to the fore with increased handling features and new body colors and upholstery options. Focusing on pure driving pleasure for over 30 years, the MX-5 will now host a brand new technology called KPC (Kinematic Stance Control), which supports the brand's "Jinba Ittai" principle.

Mazda MX-30, which has written its name in gold letters in the rear-wheel drive two-seater sports cars club for more than 5 years, will be on sale in 2022 with new technologies and refreshed visual features. The renewed MX-5 will feature Kinematic Stance Control (KPC) technology. With this technology, the speed difference between the left and right rear wheels during cornering is determined by calculations made in fractions of a second, while a slight braking is applied to the inner wheel in order to equalize the speed, thereby increasing the adhesion properties of the multi-link suspension system. The KPC system, which reduces body swing, zamAt the same time, it increases the comfort level in fast corners and on roads with uneven ground. KPC, which does not add any extra weight to the MX-5, will be offered as standard in both fabric awning and hard roof RF models.

In the updated model, Platinum Gray metallic body color will be offered as a new color option, while Terracotta interior color will be added to the options. Apart from this option, which adds a different spirit to the ultra-soft and smooth-feeling Nappa leather seats, dark blue fabric awning color and different color combinations will be among the innovations in the 2022 model Mazda MX-5.
