During use or in case of malfunction, some indicators appear on the device screen. These can be error codes and warning symbols. The device warns the user with audible and visual signals. It is necessary to pay attention to these warnings in order to use the device correctly.
Black screen
If no text or icon appears on the screen when the device is powered on:
- The batteries may be dead, you need to insert a new battery and try.
- The device may be in an extremely hot environment, you should try it in a cooler place.
- The screen may be malfunctioning.
- The device may be malfunctioning.
Battery Mark
If nothing but the battery icon appears on the screen, the batteries may be low. A new battery can be inserted and operated in the device.
Set up
On the screen set-up If the icon appears, settings such as time and date need to be made and confirmed. How to do these operations is in the user manual. The device can be used even without setting.
Test Stick Mark
If the test strip icon is flashing, the device is ready to insert the test strip.
Droplet Sign
If the test stick is correctly inserted into the device, the droplet mark will appear on the screen. The appearance of the droplet sign indicates that the device is ready for measurement. After this mark, measuring solution or blood can be dripped onto the test strip. The measurement will start automatically when the operations are complete.
HI
If the HI icon appears on the screen after measuring, it means that the test result is above the limits of the device. In case of an incorrect operation, the measurement can be repeated from the beginning with a new test strip. If the same result is obtained, it can either be tried with a different device or applied to the nearest health institution.
LO
If the LO icon appears on the screen after measuring, it means that the test result is below the limits of the device. In case of an incorrect operation, the measurement can be repeated from the beginning with a new test strip. If the same result is obtained, it can either be tried with a different device or applied to the nearest health institution.
Exclamation mark
If an exclamation point icon in a circle appears on the screen after taking a measurement, it means that the blood sugar is below the defined hypoglycemia (low blood sugar) level. Glucose, the sugar in the blood, is the body's source of energy. Hypoglycemia is a condition in which a person's glucose level is lower than normal. This may occur during the treatment of diabetes.

Only on black screen when using white activation chip code exp warning may be displayed. When this warning appears, it is understood that the test strips will expire at the end of the current month. Expired test strips may give erroneous results. For this reason, the white activation chip and test strips should be thrown away at the end of the month, and the current dated ones should be procured and used. Also, make sure that the time and date settings of the device are correct.

The E-4 code and droplet symbol appearing on the screen indicate that not enough blood or measurement solution has been dropped into the test strip. In case of an incorrect operation, the measurement can be repeated from the beginning with a new test strip.
E-5

E-7
The E-7 error code that appears on the screen indicates that an electronic error has occurred in the device or that a used measuring stick may have been reinserted into the device. To fix this problem, the device must be turned off and then on again. If the same problem persists, the device should be turned off, the batteries should be removed, and after waiting 5-10 seconds, the batteries should be reinserted and the device should be turned on. The measurement can then be repeated from the beginning with a new test strip.
E-8
The E-8 code that appears on the screen indicates that the ambient temperature is not suitable for using the device. In such a case, the device should be turned off and placed in a suitable environment and used after waiting 5-10 minutes. Suitable conditions for the operation of the device are included in the user manual. Heating or cooling the device by artificial means may cause malfunction.
E-9
When the batteries used in the device are about to run out, the E-9 warning appears on the screen. Batteries must be replaced with new ones. If the device still has the same error after the replacement, it must be reset. For this process, the battery drawer is slid out of the device and by pressing any key, the battery drawer is put back into place and the device is started.
E-10
In cases where the time and date settings are incorrect, the device may give an E-10 error. In such a case, the settings of the device should be made again and the device should be turned off and on.
