Ateca, the first SUV model of the SEAT brand, was renewed. The renewed version of Ateca, which increases its claim in the compact SUV class especially with its exterior design and updated interior, has an even stronger appearance than before.
The new SEAT Ateca, which has moved to a higher class in safety with driving assistance systems, has gained a more robust and more offroad character with the new XPERIENCE equipment level.
The Ateca, which has become one of SEAT's most successful models since its launch in 2016, has been renewed. For XPERIENCE including in Turkey and sold in two different trim levels, new Ateca 1.5 ecots DSG 150 hp engine option with the SEAT Dealer.
Renewed design language
The new SEAT Ateca combines dynamism and functionality while offering a design that catches the eye. The new Ateca has maintained its broad, powerful overall appearance thanks to its dimensions. While the new design retains the width (1.841 mm) and height (1.615 mm) of the previous generation, the front and rear bumpers have grown by 18 mm to a length of 4.381 mm.
The renewed bumper at the front and the full LED headlights with lenses, which are standard in all equipment levels, reflect the new SEAT design language. The rear of the vehicle has been shaped to emphasize the compact SUV's powerful body. The new rear bumper, dynamic LED rear turn indicators and LED tail lights, which are standard in all equipment levels, complete the appearance of the vehicle and increase its appeal. The simulated tailpipes add a different dimension to the design and focus attention on the rear of the vehicle. Ateca's name is also embossed on the rear trunk of the vehicle in a new handwriting style.
New equipment level
The new SEAT Ateca is available in FR and XPERIENCE equipment options. The FR trim level offers a sporty look with a new grille design, front and rear bumper decorations in cosmo gray, fog light grille, mirror caps, side trims and simulated exhausts. The latest equipment level XPERIENCE adds even more toughness and offroad character to the vehicle. With the addition of black front and rear bumper inserts, fender covers, side moldings and metallic look front and rear trims, the car becomes even more eye-catching. The new SEAT Ateca offers a new style with 18 different optional aluminum alloy wheel options between 19 ”and 9 ″ and a wide range of 10 different exterior colors including the new Camouflage Green color.
New 'Climacoat' technology
The interior of Ateca makes you feel the perception of quality, durability and safety from the moment you sit on the seat. The harmony of the interior, colors, seams in the panels, new door covering materials and new upholstery create a stylish look while emphasizing durability. The new steering wheel increases the sense of connection between the driver and the vehicle. On cold days, the comfort level can be increased with the optional heated steering wheel. The compact SUV also has an optional, all-weather heated windshield with invisible coating 'Climacoat' technology. This technology allows the icing on the windshield to be defrosted in just 2-3 minutes. More importantly, this system does not make a reflection that would interfere with the drivers' vision. Behind the wheel zamThe driver's seat, which allows you to find the perfect position at the moment, can be purchased optionally with its 8-way seat adjustment and memory function. The interior design also stands out with its multicolored ambient lighting, ventilation ducts, gear lever and matte coating frames for the infotainment system that add an extra dimension to the interior trim of the vehicle.
More connected, more compatible with the modern world
The new version of Ateca takes connectivity to another level. At its center is the Digital Display Panel, which combines a user-definable high resolution 10,25 ”instrument panel and infotainment system, which are standard on all hardware levels. While the standard media system has an 8,25 ″ screen with wireless connectivity features, the optionally available larger 9,2 multimedia system offers a voice command system to simplify user interaction. The Ateca has illuminated USB-C ports that make it easy to connect and charge without any hassle. Voice recognition, which comes with a 9,2 ”multimedia screen, enables the user to interact with the infotainment system by using commands, making corrections and referencing previous commands. Thus, users can perform operations such as music searches faster and easier. With the optional wireless Full Link system, users can also access their digital lives via Android Auto or Apple Car Play, no matter what device they use.
One of the safest, smartest compact SUVs
The new SEAT Ateca is one of the safest vehicles in its segment, offering a range of new advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) made by few competitors. Thanks to these technologies, SEAT Ateca can perceive its environment by offering optimized protection regardless of the scenario.
All these systems, including Pre-Collision Assist, Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC), Emergency Assist, Front and Side Assist, all work in harmony to protect the vehicle and its passengers. In the event of a potential collision, Pre-Collision Assist tightens the seat belts, closes the windows and sunroof, and activates the warning lights.
Another feature added to the new SEAT Ateca is the Rear Cross Traffic Alert System. While parking, if another car, pedestrian or cyclist is coming, the car gives an audible and visual warning and initiates automatic braking if necessary. SEAT Ateca has Side Assist with Blind Spot Detection, which can detect vehicles up to 70m through the LED indicators in the mirror. For those who like to use caravan and trailer style vehicles, New Ateca also offers Trailer Parking Assistant technology as an option. The system supports the driver when reversing and parking with a trailer, the reverse camera view is used to help guide the vehicle and trailer to the required position.
