GM and Honda Companies to Collaborate in the USA

US automaker General Motors (GM) and Japanese manufacturer Honda partnered to manufacture and sell various vehicles in North America under their independent brand.  According to the statement, GM and Honda aim to share common vehicle platforms, including electric and internal combustion engine systems.

According to GM, negotiations for joint development will begin immediately, while engineering work will take place in early 2021. GM and Honda companies announced in April that they will jointly develop two new electric vehicles for Honda and plan to expand their business partnership.
