The Competition Board launched an investigation against Tofaş Türk Otomobil Fabrikası A.Ş.
In the statement made to the Public Disclosure Platform (KAP), it was stated that: "By the Competition Board, distributors and car rental companies operating in the first-hand (new) and second-hand vehicle sales markets violate Article 4054 of the Law No.4 on the Protection of Competition. Investigations were initiated within the scope of the decision taken to open an investigation against many companies in the sector, including our company, to determine their failure to do so. As it is known, the opening of an investigation by the Competition Authority cannot be interpreted as that the companies subject to investigation violated the law numbered 4054, faced or will face penal sanctions under the law. Developments on the subject will be shared with the public when necessary within the framework of the Capital Market Legislation. "
