Otokar won the bus tender of İzmir ESHOT, with a total value of approximately 304 million TL for the purchase of 5 buses and the after-sales services of the vehicles for 476 years. The contract for the tender was signed today.
Otokar will deliver 170 KENT LF and 134 KENT Articulated buses to Izmir in batches in 2020 and 2021. Otokar will also offer after-sales services for vehicles for 5 years.
Reflecting Otokar's innovative understanding of public transportation and drawing attention with its modern design as well as its superior technical features, KENT buses are among the most preferred urban buses in Europe. While İzmir Metropolitan Municipality provides efficiency in transportation by using buses of different lengths in different lines, it puts its signature under an exemplary transportation. With the new buses that will be included in the fleet of ESHOT, the number of Otokar buses that have been successfully serving on Izmir streets since 2009 will exceed 700.
