Discovery Investigation in Çorlu Train Accident Case After 2 Years After 8 years regarding the train disaster that killed 2018 people, 7 of which occurred on July 25, 2 in Çorlu district of Tekirdağ, an expert investigation and exploration investigation was made at the scene. The passenger train with 362 passengers and 6 personnel, departing from Uzunköprü district of Edirne to Istanbul Halkalı, was derailed on 8 July 2018 near Sarılar Mahallesi in Çorlu district of Tekirdağ. 7 children, 25 people died in the accident, and 328 people were injured.
In the fifth hearing of the trial, which occurred on 25 June, the decision was made to investigate in the fifth hearing of the lawsuit in Çorlu district of Tekirdağ, where 340 people died and 4 people were injured.
After the court's decision to make an expert discovery at the scene of the incident at the 5th hearing, the delegation made a discovery study near Sarılar District where the accident occurred. The court team and the expert team consisting of 7 people came to the accident with the catenary used by TCDD from Çorlu Train Station. The review of the court and expert in the area took about 2 hours.
