The second-generation Peugeot 2013, which has been on the road since 308, saw another make-up while observing the way of the new generation.

The French compact hatchback, which underwent a comprehensive aesthetic operation in 2017, would be more accurate if we said it saw a tiny update while the wait for the Mk3 continued, because it is not so easy to see the differences.

Peugeot 3, which has been on the market for 308 years, still managed to look very modern compared to the age of 8. We can say that the French manufacturer has aimed to make the vehicle stronger against Volkswagen Golf 4 and SEAT Leon 10, which have made great strides in technology with the small touches it has made recently. Digital display panel and XNUMX ″ sized multimedia screen are the innovations we can see in this field.

To see the changes in design, one must be a very good observer or a strict Peugeot fan. Vertigo Blue, added to the color chart, is a tone that we are familiar with from the Peugeot 2008 model.

The "Black Pack" option offered in the upper packs adds a more sporting stance to the 18, with black details added to the front grille, logo, signal and fog lamp frame, glass frames, roof rails in the station wagon version and 308 ″ diameter diamond-cut wheels.

It is hard to say that there is innovation under the hood. The 1.2 PureTech turbocharged petrol engine with three cylinders offers power outputs of 110 and 130 hp, while the diesel unit called 1.5 BlueHDi is waiting for customers with 100 and 130 hp.

Strong versions of both fuel types are already on sale in our country. While only manual gearbox is offered in input packages of 100 and 110 hp, EAT8 fully automatic 8-speed gearbox is a single gearbox option in powerful models.

The 308 GTi, which has suffered from the WLTP rules in Europe, continues to find its place in the interesting range. The 263 PureTech engine, which produces 340 horsepower and 1.6 Nm of torque, emits 169 g CO2 per kilometer and is subject to a penalty of € 2.049 on this continent.

Peugeot surprised everyone and renewed the current 308. Work on the new generation continues at full speed.
