The History of Denizli Aydın Highway Tender Has Been Determined

Cahit Özkan, AK Party Group Vice President and Denizli Deputy, announced that the Aydın-Denizli Highway Project will be put out to tender again on June 11.

Özkan, who held a press conference, said about the Aydın-Denizli highway: “The tender works of the Aydın-Denizli highway have significantly accelerated. I would like to underline this especially about the highway. As you know, the highway has been put out to tender many times and the tender has been canceled. Why was it canceled? There is a reason for the cancellation. Until today, the tender specifications contain such provisions that unfortunately the firms that entered the tender did not meet the conditions of the tender they entered because they did not see profitability here and were canceled. When this was canceled many times, no one entered according to that specification.

This time, I hope that this tender will be accepted and digging will be hit quickly, and this investment will be completed and presented to the nation within 3 years. Before 2023, we will witness those magnificent celebrations of our 100th Anniversary and the opening and commissioning of the Aydın-Denizli highway.
