Speaking in the 'Head to Head with the President' program organized by Sakarya University, Metropolitan Mayor Ekrem Yüce spoke about the Nostalgic Tram project, whose tender was postponed due to the coronavirus.
Making remarks about the tram project, President Ekrem Yüce said, “We had a long working period on tram. We met with different parts of our city and got their opinions. As a result of the positive picture, we were going to hold our tender on April 10, but we were delayed due to the coronavirus. We took it back to our agenda at the meeting we held in the past days and hopefully we will tender soon. If there is a tram on Istiklal Street in Istanbul, tram will travel on Çark Street, which is the symbol of Sakarya, on the boulevard. It will add difference and color. ”
