The Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure will undertake the construction of the Başakşehir-Kayaşehir metro line on the route of Istanbul Başakşehir City Hospital, which is the first in Europe with the feature of having the most intensive care patient beds.
The President's Decision on the Assignment, Acquisition and Completion of the Conditions Regarding the Transfer of the Urban Rail Transport Systems, Subways and Related Facilities by the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure entered into force on Thursday (April 30th), published in the repeated issue of the Official Gazette.
Accordingly, under the decision signed by President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, the authority for Başakşehir Kayaşehir Metro Line, which is of great importance for Istanbul residents, was transferred to the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure.
