The line where Emay Engineering and Consulting, which has been tendered by the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality, undertakes the construction supervision and Aga Energy's construction works; It is about 13,5 km long and consists of 12 stations. Once completed, the line is expected to carry around 500.000 passengers daily. The project cost is 338.272.200,00 €
Ataköy İkitelli Metro Line will connect the regions on the west side of Istanbul from north to south. This Line will connect the Metrobus fast transit line connecting the regions on the European side of Istanbul from east to west, as well as the Marmaray, Başakşehir-Kirazlı and Aksaray Airport metro lines. The picture below shows the existing metro line businesses and all related connections along the 13,4 km metro line.
The project will enable those using the line to reach İkitelli from Ataköy in 19 minutes; In the current conditions, this journey takes about 50 minutes by private car. The Project is expected to significantly reduce congestion, air and noise pollution and carbon emissions, and even provide safer and more reliable transportation services for 400.000 passengers estimated to travel each day.
Ataköy İkitelli Metro Stations
Twelve underground stations are foreseen for the Ataköy-İkitelli Metro Line. A typical station will include the following elements: 90 m long and at least 14 m wide center platforms, at least one access ladder for each platform, and an emergency exit (additional access depending on passenger volume) and an auxiliary facility at the level of passenger assembly area rooms.

It is constructed as one of the north-south connecting lines of the European side. The line that will serve to the Financial Center region planned to be made in the Press Ekspres region will contribute to reducing the traffic density in this region.
