2021 Porsche 911 is too short to introduce Targa model

The Porsche Targa Model Is Too Little To Launch

The 2021 Porsche 911 Targa is far from the introduction of the Model. The new Porsche 19 Targa, which has not been promoted due to the corona virus (Covid-911) epidemic, will be introduced on May 18 digitally.

German automaker Porsche had twice postponed its previously planned promotional activities due to the corona virus outbreak. Porsche was planning to make the first presentation of the new 911 Targa model at the Beijing Motor Show 2020. However, as the epidemic measures continued, the introductory meeting was shifted to the Tennis Grand Prix, but it could not take place either. Finally, Porsche decided to introduce the new Targa model digitally on May 18, 2020.

Where does the name Targa come from?

The name Targa was born for the first time with the 1966 Porsche 911 Targa with fixed rear window and a removable roof panel. In 1996, Porsche introduced a glass roof with 993 Targa that can be hidden behind the rear window. In the 2014 model Targa model, a different design was encountered. In the 2014 model Porsche Targa, the rear window was completely lifted and slid back. This allowed the electric roof panel to lift itself and fold behind the rear seats.
