Volkswagen Transporter commercial T7 plans to produce a new model in Turkey. The two giants of the world automotive market, Volkswagen and Ford, signed an extensive cooperation in January 2019 to develop commercial vehicles, autonomous technologies and electric cars.

Non-commercial versions of transporters will be produced in Germany and Poland. The vehicles that will share the same platform are planned to be offered for sale in 2022. Thanks to the partnership they have established, Ford and Volkswagen aim to reduce their production costs significantly and thus enter the market with more appropriate figures.
