Kabataş Mecidiyeköy Mahmutbey Metro Line Ne ZamOpening the moment ?; Tunnel works have been completed in the second part of the Kabataş Mecidiyeköy Mahmutbey Metro Line, which extends to Kabataş. Due to the completion of all tunnels, a ceremony will be held on Wednesday, November 6, with the participation of IMM President Ekrem İmamoğlu. 8 stations between Mecidiyeköy and Mahmutbey, which will connect 15 districts, are aimed to be put into service in the first months of next year.
The Kabataş-Mecidiyeköy-Mahmutbey Metro Line project, which is under construction, is approaching a happy end. The tunnel excavation work between Mecidiyeköy and Kabataş, the second phase of the line between Mecidiyeköy and Mahmutbey, has also been completed.
A ceremony will be held on Wednesday, November 6, with the participation of IMM President Ekrem İmamoğlu, due to the "Completion of the Kabataş-Mecidiyeköy-Mahmutbey Metro Line Tunnels". In the program, the TBM machine, which completed the tunnel work between Mecidiyeköy and Kabataş, will be removed from the shaft at the Fulya Station of the line.
Built with the latest technology as metro fully automatic driverless metro, the subway consists of 24,5 km length and 19 station. The one-way 70 line, which has a capacity of one thousand passengers per hour, is expected to serve one million passengers per day with the launch of the entire line.
The rail system line will connect Beyoğlu - Beşiktaş - Şişli - Kağıthane - Eyüp - Gaziosmanpaşa - Esenler - Bağcılar (8 districts), which have a large population as settlements on the European Side.
Kabataş-Mecidiyeköy-Mahmutbey (M7) Metro Line will be integrated with other rail systems at 5 different points.
The integration points and lines are as follows;
- At Kabataş Station; By Kabataş-Taksim Funicular (F1) line and Eminönü-Kabataş Tram (T1)
- Yenikapı-Hacıosman Metro (M2) line at Mecidiyeköy Station
- With Topkapı-Sultançiftliği (T4) line at Karadeniz Mahallesi Station
- Bağcılar (Kirazlı) - Başakşehir Metro (M3) line at Mahmutbey Station
