South Korean automotive giant KIA announced that Karim Habib was appointed head of the design center. Habib, who previously assumed design leadership for European and Far Eastern origin brands, will start working at KIA's design center in Namyang, South Korea by October.
Karim Habib, who has been the design chief of premium brands for more than a year, will be responsible for the design of vehicles developed within the framework of the brand's vision for mobility and electrification.
Karim Habib stated that KIA is a brand that steers the future of the automotive industry with its power and said: dim I came to a brand that has serious efforts in terms of the future of electrification and mobility. I am very happy to be a part of this future. I can't wait to start working with KIA's successful design team as soon as possible ”.
Throughout his career, Karim Habib has played an important role in BMW, Mercedes and Nissan (Infiniti), pioneering the creation of many models.
