IETT Passes Winter Tariff With Expedition Increase

IETT, the opening of schools 9 September Monday starting from the winter tariff. During the summer period, the number of trips of the metrobus will be increased by buses that are periodically maintained.

IETT General Directorate, one of the affiliates of Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality, goes to the winter tariff at the beginning of the new academic year.

In addition to the total capacity of 5 thousand 45 vehicles, including the current 460 thousand 5 buses and 505 metrobus, the number of 284 maintained buses and 65 metrobus will also join the fleet. (Total 349)

EXCURSIONS IN THE BUS INCREASE IN 6,6 METROBUS PERCENT INCREASES 13,6

Starting on Monday, September 9, there will be 3 thousand 862 additional flights on bus lines. Thus, the number of daily flights will increase by 6,6 percent to 48 thousand 763. In the Metrobus, the number of daily flights will increase by 13,6 to 6 982.

On the day of the opening of the schools, it is aimed to direct parents and students to public transportation with additional flights to be realized by IETT.
