Within the scope of the application that will start as of August 30, in the Metro Istanbul operation; M1A Yenikapı-Atatürk Airport, M1B Yenikapı-Kirazlı, M2 Yenikapı-Hacıosman, M4 Kadıköy-Tavşantepe, M5 Üsküdar-Çekmeköy and M6 Levent-Boğaziçi Ü. / Hisarüstü metro lines will be operated 24 hours on weekends and official holidays.
How will the Night Metro work?
The night subway operation is the night that connects Friday to Saturday and Saturday to Sunday, and even before the public holidays, 20 min. time interval. With this planning; On weekends, 66 hourly and 1 hourly, 42 hourly operation will be carried out with the normal operating day before night time. The business will start at the start of the calendar day of the weekend and public holidays, that is, the clock starts at 00: 00 and ends at the 23: 59 at the end of the last normal operation of the day or days concerned.

How to Manage Business on Sports Meetings and Special Event Days?
With the Night Metro operation, the lines that are included in the Night Metro operation will switch to night operation as of 24:00 without any change in time and frequency of travel on the days that coincide with the Sports Events, Special Events or the days of the IMM Council Decision to extend the flight . For lines other than these 00 lines, only the time extension will be made and service will be provided until the end of the extension as in the previous periods. How to provide security?
Within the scope of the project, the 24 line will be operated with all stations, and the same number of security guards working in the daytime as well as the same number of security guards will operate in the night operation. The control centers of each line and the Security Monitoring Center shall operate as in normal operating conditions. How to change the maintenance activities?
As Metro Istanbul, we attach great importance to our Care Concept to ensure that our valuable passengers can travel safely and comfortably. We also attach importance to the maintenance and repair activities of our lines and vehicles in order to maintain the high punctuality and success rate of our operations. In order to maintain the same service quality and to have no negative impact on the maintenance and repair activities of the night metro facility, some changes have been made in our Maintenance Concept. For this reason, routine and planned maintenance and repair activities that will be performed at the weekend will be performed by shifting to night work during the week. Maintenance and repair activities in lines other than the night metro system will be shifted to the weekends and maintenance and repair activities will be ensured without interruption. .
Night Metro Pricing
30 Double Fare tariff will be applied for the night subway which will start in August. When 00: 30, which is the beginning of the night time schedule, is used for reading through the turnstiles, DOUBLE PASSING fee will be charged on the tariff including the related card.
