In the European Union countries, the new electric and hybrid cars sold at low speeds if it is necessary to have a system that makes a sound.

Electric cars and hybrid vehicles are very quiet on the go, making it hard to notice in traffic.

Module that makes noise at low speeds in all new electric and hybrid cars sold in the European Union (EU) has been made mandatory.

At speeds below 20 kilometers per hour, they will have to have a module that will produce a sound of at least 56 db (decibels) and the loudness will need to change according to the speed.
