Audi R8 LMS GT2 Introduced; Thanks to the Goodwood Festival of Speed, Audi Sport brought the new R620 LMS GT8 with 2 horsepower to speed lovers. The R8 LMS GT2, which is produced for use only on racetracks, will not find a place for itself in traffic.

The exterior design and colors of the vehicle look very innovative and technological. It looks ready for races with an air intake on the ceiling and a large rear spoiler. Under the hood of the R8 LMS GT2, which is expected to take part in the race next year, is an atmospherically powered R620 engine with an 5,2 liter volume V10 producing 8 horsepower.

This engine made the vehicle very powerful, while also reducing the weight / power ratio of the vehicle, removing many hardware from the interior and using carbon fiber materials, making the R8 LMS GT2 much lighter than Audi's regular R8 model. At the end of these changes, the R8 LMS GT2 managed to drop to 1.350 kilograms and thanks to this reduction, the weight / power ratio of the vehicle became 2,1 kilograms / horsepower. In addition, Audi Sport stated that the vehicle has common points with the chassis R8 Spyder.

The approximate value of the Audi R8 LMS GT2 was announced to be 338.000 Euros.
