TCDD Railway Map

TCDD Railway Map: TCDD is continuously working on both the renewal of existing lines and the addition of new lines. In particular, it renews the existing old rail technology and changes to a new and more up-to-date high speed train system. This conversion is provided by High Speed ​​Train.

TCDD started laying high-speed train lines in 2003. The first line is 533 km of its total length. It is the Istanbul Eskişehir Ankara line that is expected to be. The Ankara-Eskişehir part of the line currently in use consists of 245 km and the journey time is 95 minutes. Trial flights started on April 23, 2007, and commercial flights on May 13, 2009. The Eskişehir-Istanbul part of the line is expected to be completed in 2009. When the line is connected with Marmaray in 2012, the world's first intercontinental daily train service will be realized.
